Why You Should Have Moments This Weekend

Look past those things that stressed you out about this week … about Monday’s meeting … about Wednesday’s bad news … about Thursday’s change of plans … and try to rest in some moments today, tomorrow, and into the weekend.

Grant yourself some reprieve from the worry as you turn the corner into Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Not because you are in denial or are avoiding life. But because you want to be present to being where you are in the MOMENT – where you are PLANTED right now.

Because, remember, things will change over the hours on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, and the worries will change. You cannot predict what will come or what blessings are on their way. So let go of trying to figure it all out now.

Some things will work themselves out … some things will surprise you with success … and some things will not go as planned. Your obligation is to do your best in the present and believe that you can handle what comes in the future.

 But that is not for you to solve today – because YOU CAN’T.

 Trust that your hard work is good ENOUGH.

 Trust that your talent is purposeful ENOUGH.

 Trust that your intuition is wise ENOUGH.

Rest in that trust.

Be PRESENT to the life and the love that is around you as the weekend opens its doors and calls you into its open rooms. Sit on the couch, walk in the fresh air and catch up with someone you have not seen in a while.

Be planted in those moments. They are what hold your gifts.
